Alberta Big Game Hunting with North Alta Ventures

Our area is known for an abundance of wildlife with Big Game hunts for Moose, Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Black Bear and Elk with even a chance for a Timber Wolf. Migratory and Upland Birds are abundant through out the area  as well.

All hunts are "fair chase" and occur mainly in a 50 mile radius of our headquarters, and are primarily reached by ATV. With the exception of our archery only seasons our hunters may use their weapon of choice during the hunt, which includes rifle, muzzleloader, shotgun or bow.

Weather in the Boreal Region can be as varied as the terrain, it is best to expect the unexpected. In particular as the hunting seasons move into the later portions of the fall, temperatures can drop below freezing and it will be  very important to have the appropriate footwear and clothing. In Alberta there are no blaze orange requirements while hunting and most hunters opt for camouflage type  clothing. Regardless of the clothing and footwear you choose, make sure they will help to keep you warm and dry.
